As we close out 2025, December offers a moment to reflect on the incredible progress made across North Carolina’s healthcare IT community while looking ahead to new opportunities. This month brings meaningful observances like World AIDS Day (December 1), National Influenza Vaccination Week (December 2–6), and Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week (December 1-7) reminders of the vital role technology plays in improving health outcomes and access. It’s also a time for collaboration and learning, with events such as the Healthcare Finance & Technology Summit in Charlotte on December 9–10, where leaders explored innovations shaping the future of care delivery and revenue cycle management.

In this issue, we’ll highlight these initiatives, share resources to keep you engaged, and celebrate the partnerships that make our chapter strong. Whether you’re advancing digital transformation or planning for the year ahead, December is about closing the year with purpose and preparing for an even more impactful 2026.
