In addition to the general programs, we have three Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that focus on issues that are relevant and impactful to the healthcare community:

Cybersecurity SIG

Leads efforts to educate and guide the chapter in cybersecurity awareness, preparedness, and related activities.

Informatics SIG

Guides chapter efforts to improve patient care and outcomes using information and technology.

DEI SIG

Works to help promote the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Healthcare technology professions.

We are seeking presenters for the NC HIMSS annual conference to be held October 2-3, 2023, at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree. The conference objective is to enhance professional knowledge, create forums for networking and foster leadership at the individual and corporate level. This year’s theme is Healthy Living: Exploring the Intersection of Technology and Wellness.
