Happy New Year!

As 2022 moves further into the rear view, we focus on what 2023 will bring and the value we can DELIVER to members across North Carolina.

Is this the year you’ll get more involved in the NC Chapter? Maybe you’ll volunteer for a committee, join a special interest group (SIG) in cybersecurity, informatics or DEI, or attend one or more events hosted throughout the year. If interested, reach out to an NC HIMSS board member!

Winter Event Recap

The NC HIMSS Winter Dinner was held on Monday, January 24, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

It was a great success with two engaging speakers, networking, and dinner! Rasu Shrestha, MD, chief strategy and transformation officer at Advocate Health, enlightened participants with highlights and strategy for “The Pearl,” Charlotte’s planned innovation district right next to the city.

A significant component of Advocate Health’s (previously Atrium) 2025 strategy. Phase 1 of this strategy is well underway! Learn more about the innovation district.

After dinner, Bill Satterwhite, MD, a principal at Huron Consulting, gave a fun talk about managing stress with something for everyone. There was something for everyone. What a great kickoff to NC HIMSS’ lineup of 2023 events!

A big thank you to Tanium for sponsoring this event and Igor Gorlatov of the Kepler Team for this not-to-be-missed video!
