As we approach the holiday season and the halfway point of fiscal year 2024, we have much to celebrate. Our annual conference was an incredible success thanks to our membership and the hard work of many! We had an amazing line-up of speakers, panelists, and keynote addresses centered around the intersection of technology and wellness. Please make plans to join us in Wrightsville Beach, NC for our 2024 conference where we’ll continue to bring incredible content to our members from an oceanfront oasis! Start planning your luau attire now!
Another year-end tradition is taking time to express gratitude and reflect over the last year with an eye toward the future. As a board and a chapter, we reviewed our successes, contemplated ways to improve, and made plans to continuously strive to create the best possible experience for our membership. We set our sights on the HIMSS standards for chapter recognition to build on our Bronze Chapter Award in 2022. We are proud and excited to share that our chapter has been awarded the Silver Chapter Award from HIMSS! This award sets us apart, helps us stand out among the best of the best, and recognizes the quality of our content, events, networking, and advocacy. We are excited that our chapter has achieved this status and look forward to celebrating throughout the year and at the HIMSS24 Global Conference in Orlando, FL. We hope you’ll make plans to join us there.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and our planning committees, I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your support and commitment to our shared goals. I am grateful to have led this chapter as President for the past 18 months. We have continued to shine as a beacon of advocacy and camaraderie, We have been visionaries with a shared purpose of improving outcomes in healthcare through the use of technology. We have succeeded because we have worked together.
We look forward to seeing you all at our Winter Dinner which will be held in Charlotte in January. Be on the lookout for details in the coming days and weeks.
Here’s to the Happiest of Holiday Seasons to you, your family, and your friends.
