The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention today released a report offering guidance and resources to help health care providers, response and recovery workers, and affected communities address potential public health and safety concerns before, during and after a hurricane or flood. Many of the resources are available in both English and Spanish. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration also offers a disaster app, which provides smartphone access to behavioral health resources, including a disaster kit and treatment facilities locator.
