Recap: Standing out in Virtual Interviews
On February 22 Isabel Seifert, Senior Recruiter at Intellect Resources, and Joe Arlotto, Senior Account Executive – Healthcare IT & Digital at Gravity IT Resources, provided tips and tricks to land that next position by standing out in a virtual interview. The Latest: Special Interest Groups
The Cybersecurity SIG will hold a panel discussion titled “Healthcare Cyber Resiliency: Lessons Learned from the Moore County Power Grid Attack” on May 17, 2023, in coordination with the NCHIMSS Spring Social. Our panelists – from a local health system, the FBI and DHS – will share best practices for anticipating and navigating ongoing cybersecurity risks and challenges. Audience engagement will be encouraged through Q&A. (Read more and Register Here).
The Informatics SIG held its first meeting on February 20th, where the group brainstormed topics for educating the NCHIMSS members about how healthcare technology can impact patient care. Look for more updates about opportunities to learn and collaborate on this important topic.
The DEI SIG also held its inaugural meeting this week (February 23rd). The group continues to look for more members so please check out opportunities to be a part of this important discussion.

The most effective methods to prepare include performing an assessment to identify the domains where you may be weak, setting an individual learning plan to address those areas, and practice, practice, practice.
